Half way round the poetry path in Kirkby Stephen.
From Stenkrith Park follow the footpath along the river, Ghost Tree is in the third field between Stenkrith Falls and Swingy Bridge. Parking on Station Road or a short walk from the town centre.
Ghost Tree creates a spooky image. This is a simple concept which involves the creation of a ghost tree by painting a dead tree white. It is a narrative on the decline of trees and by regenerating a dead object brings to attention the value of these structures within the enviroment.The paint will gradually wear off as this intervention is taken over by nature's natural processes.
