A 25’ parrot planted in flowers will adorn the roadside embankment celebrating the beautiful landscape of the area and the parrots of Kirkby Stephen.
Artists statement:
The Parrots of Kirkby Stephen are a known and acknowledged enhancement to the scenery and 'wildlife' of the locality. This is an opportunity to draw visitors' attention to them and to show our pride in having such beautiful birds living here...also a bit of fun by the roadside.
